  1. Selling scrap metal is a way to get some extra money from the unused properties of a household or office. A lot of junkyards are eagerly waits to buy those scrap metals and they pay good money for it. After buying them, they analyze all those metals and differentiate among them.

  8. Recycling metal can really help out the environment and can save you money as well. It is really important in my opinion to recycle in general not just metal. I hope to find a place that can help me out with recycling metal.

  9. My family collects our aluminum pop cans instead of throwing them out. However, we recently moved to a new town and I don't know where to take them. Would you happen to know of a metal recycling company nearby? http://www.southerncrossmetals.com.au

  10. I've been thinking of recycling some metal that I have. Do scrap metal recycling companies accept any kind of metal? I think it's great that you can get money for recycling metals. That is a good motivator to have a green outlook rather than filling landfills.

  11. In the Cash for Junk Cars Industry, we not only offer FREE pickup for cars, we give customers anywhere from $300-3000 in cold hard cash in order to take the junk car off of their hands! Now THAT is an incentive!

  12. Scrap metal can be such a pain to get rid of sometimes if it's something big but I'm willing to do it if I get money. I should probably go through my home and see what I can get rid of. I have a bunch of stuff that has been sitting outside I need to take, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

  14. I tried selling my scrap metal a while back. I can't remember how much I was paid but I do remember that was when I started making my own projects from recycled metals. I actually even made some ski/snowboard rails for the locals!

  16. There are so many uses for scrap metal. After my home build, I had tons of scrap metal left over and I didn't need it. Turns out, some guy had a project that he needed to melt down some metal and pour it into some molds. The old adage is true: "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

  18. We recently had a relative pass away and they had a 2 acres of junk that we needed to get rid of before we could sell the house. A lot of the stuff on the property was metal. Luckily we were able to contact a recycling service that specializes in this, so we knew it was in the proper hands.

  25. Metal is perfect material for recycling and offers a wide-range of advantages and benefits. Benefits to recycling the different types of metals include a much lower need to carry out mining, reduces the production cost for the manufacturers of metal, and also helps with supplying high-quality metal items across the world. Unlike some of the other popular recyclable materials, such as plastic and paper, metal is one material source that will not degrade even after going through the recycling process several times.
